The materials in these other archives may not go on-line for awhile because the
priority will go to "on-lining" everything on Ellen White. But waiting in
the wings is a goodly amount of material dealing with 1844 and with the things that came
out of 1844: that is to say, critiques of
the prophetic calculations "proving" 1844;
the Shut Door;
And yes, James and Ellen White did believe in the full-blow Shut
Door till 1852 -- attempts by
Ellen White,
F. D. Nichol,
Arthur White,
Robert Olson, (and now)
Herbert E. Douglass
to prove the contrary notwithstanding.
