Personal  Experiences

of

Former  Adventists

Let us hear from you!

Archive 4 -- with the help of persons such as yourself -- could become a central receiving station for personal accounts by persons who have left the fold of the SDAs, showing the many roads by which people have made their exit.

Do you find your experience as a former SDA interesting?  Do you think others might also find it so?  Then write and send it to us:

     s mail: Gary Gent
c/o Archive 4
P.O. Box 1489

Rocky Face, GA                             30740

It can describe the entire path.  It can describe only the major turning points.  It can be as brief as a single thought or incident.  But if it would make interesting reading for others who've travelled a road through and out of EGW/SDA, it's just the thing to go here in Archive 4.

Help in writing an account

The following may prove helpful.

[1] A collection of accounts telling how persons left various folds.  See if one or another of these doesn't inspire you to want to write something similar about your own life and experiences.
[2] The title and headings from the account by Harold Snide.  These may provide a model to adapt in telling your story.

[1]  Persons who have left various folds

Look the following accounts over.  See if you're not gripped with how sheerly interesting they are.  And see if one or another of them doesn't make you think "I could write something like this."  If so, you're on your way.

[2]  Harold Snide's Outline

The following are the title and section headings of Harold Snide's personal history.  In telling your own account, feel free to adapt it: add things, delete things, change things ...

(By the same token, feel equally free to ignore it.)
