Dear Christian Friend,

Have you ever had the problem of proving or defending a tenet of your church doctrine from the Bible alone?  Do you feel comfortable with the prospect of defending your faith with knowledgeable students of theology without using writings that are unique to you denomination?

When I retired from my busy surgical practice, seven years ago, I felt the desire to share my faith with any who might be interested.  I had been raised in the Adventist faith and would have staked my life that my church was God's true church.  I knew I could prove to anyone who would accept writings from my church's pioneers, but felt an inability to prove and defend everything from the Bible alone.

I began an intensive study of the Bible to bolster my weakness which I felt to be entirely due to a lack of dedicated Bible study of the various aspects of our church doctrines.  I had absolutely no doubt that these doctrines were as solid as the Rock of Gibraltar.

As I continued my study and became better acquainted with what the Bible was describing, I found an entirely different scenario from the one that I was trying to fortify.  The more I studied, the more unscriptural it became.

Over the past two years I have taken a series of 25 topics from my study and by the Bible alone  tried to portray exactly what the Bible was stating.  I avoided twisting any text to make it fit what I might want it to fit.  These studies are numbered roughly in the order that they were produced.

Since I was planning on sending a sample of these studies to those with an Adventist background, I asked the Lord to select the one He would prefer for one to send.  I cut out 26 pieces of paper and on each piece a number from 1 to 26.  Each of the first 25 had a number to correspond to the book number on my booklet inventory.  The piece with the #26 I wrote -- "Send None."

With the response that most of my Adventist friends have to these studies I fully expected the Lord to choose #26.  The number I drew was #5 -- "God's Rest."

I personally would have chosen several other booklets which an Adventist might have less difficulty to accept, but the choice was not mine.

Just what do these churches represent in their application to our time and events -- still future.

A dozen subjects -- usually short prophecies, often passed over, but each with significant import to our time.  One of my favorites.

The Seventy Weeks of
Daniel Nine

Anyone who has had a problem making this prophecy fit a preconceived scenario will find here the way it fits Scripture without bending or twisting.  It also is the only way it makes perfect sense.

Does entering God's rest mean
the keeping of the Sabbath?

Is Sunday now God's Sabbath?

This and more explained with Scripture.

The forces represented in the battle at Christ's Second Coming; its imminence to our time and how we may be involved.  Its outcome in detail.

What is the Image to the Beast?  Many entities have been proposed to try to fit them with the Scriptures.  I believe you will have difficulty in finding one more Scriptural -- or more timely.

Was Ellen White a true prophetess of God? 
Is there Scriptural evidence that forbids that acceptance?  I believe you will find compelling evidence for the position stated in this study.

This may represent a new thought to you, but it is not totally unique.  I believe you will find it Scriptural.

Definitely different from most, but completely Scriptural, with no bending needed.  Is your understanding of this fully backed by the Bible?  This one is.

The Lamb-like
Beast

Is this speaking of the United States?  Is it speaking of the Counterfeit lamb?  This study will verify, from Scripture, which one it is.

This one has some overlap with The Image to the Beast.  This is difficult to avoid as they are closely related.)

Don't read this to bolster that theory.  I believe anyone could fall in love with that theory.  Unfortunately for that concept, this study will reveal the sand that it is built on.

The status of the Israelites -- from the crucifixion, where God abandoned them, until their restoration at the time of the end, and their place in the Millennial Kingdom.

The Sinaitic Covenant

Was it for just the Jews, or for all mankind? 
Was it to last forever, or was it for a specified time?  Has it been replaced, and if so, by what and when?

These and many more questions answered by undeniable specific texts.

Satan's Life
Cycle

Most will find this scenario to differ from their time-honored view, but nothing is presented that is not backed by undeniable evidence.  See if you can find where your view is Scriptural and this one is not.  From the Bible only -- please.

Most Bible students have only a vague under-
standing of these messages, how they apply, and to whom they refer.  Some make these messages refer specifically to their  denomination.

The Day of

Most of the prophetic events described in the Book of Revelation are scheduled to take place during this time period.  No one can ever discover when it will begin, but when it begins all may know it.  They will then be able to determine precisely the timing of these events.

Is this a true statement in all circumstances?  Is it a contract that is irreversible?  Can this be defended from Scripture alone?
